Meet Jillene Anzanetta Cook
Jillene A. Cook is an Author, Spiritual Director, Seminarian, Worship Leader, Speaker, and gifted Creative based in Southern California where she lives with her husband and child. With over ten years of collective ministry experience and a Master's degree in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care, she has self-published two books: Boston Promises; an interactive memoir and The Guide. Having studied musical theater and dance at AMDA and The New School in New York City, Jillene is passionate about the arts and finds artistic expression to be a profound resource to connect deeply with God. With a true love of people in her heart, Jillene has guided many women and men on their unique and spiritual journeys of discerning the voice of God and living into God’s promises for them.

Wow wow wow. Full of authenticity, wisdom, delight, and encouragement. Reading this book feels like sitting with a friend who is constantly pointing you back to Jesus in a way that always feels real - not preachy. The takeaways and prayer sections at the end of each chapter were so helpful for my own walk with the Lord. You can tell that this book was written prayerfully and in a Spirit-led way, which felt like a gift each time I came to open a new chapter. This is one I’ll be rereading for years to come!
